This annual commemorative service is for the families of those who have lost their lives at sea and is a reminder to the public of the role of the fishing industry in our community.
Hundreds gather at the waterfront and the inner harbour is filled with fishing boats for the moving ceremony, which ends with the release of doves.
After a sail-past the festivities begin with music, a 'catch of the day' auction and on-water demonstrations.
Programme of events available on the day.
